15 Feared Dead In Lagos Tank Farm Explosion

A petrol tanker explosion which occurred late Tuesday night at Olodi Apapa, Lagos have destroyed several buildings and vehicles in the area.
Unconfirmed reports also said about 15 people died in the fire.
Sources said that the incident occurred during discharge operation from an oil barge into a facility at a tank farm.
A source added that the explosion was caused by an improper handling of the discharge operation.
